This month, employees at Mann Broadbent Insurance took part in their annual first aid and defibrillator training.
Figures demonstrate that a cardiac arrest victim given a defibrillator shock within 3 minutes has their chance of survival increased from 6% to 74%, which is one of the reasons we invested in a machine 5 years ago.
In addition to training our own people, we have also involved other local businesses with the hope that if the worst happens our machine will be available.
Far too many people die every year from cardiac arrests; if you would like advice on risk management and the provision of training and procedures for your organisation please contact us on 01905 612336.
