Who we are

Mann Broadbent was established in 1961 by its founders, Bob Mann and Bob Broadbent, with the intention of providing the necessary cover for teams engaged in amateur sports. Bob Mann’s background was in football, not only as a player but later as a Football League, F.I.F.A. and Olympic Games referee and an administrator at County F.A. level. Bob Broadbent’s background was in cricket. He was, for many years, a regular first-eleven batsman with Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

The business was subsequently acquired by Sutcliffe & Co, a family-owned independent insurance broker in Worcester. Under their management, the business has prospered and grown into other sports and leisure pursuits, including dance.

Mann Broadbent continues to grow by providing insurance advice and good service to individuals and organisations whilst maintaining the personal service and one-to-one relationships that the business was founded upon over 60 years ago.
