Why does my hockey club or team need insurance?

Hockey insurance can provide protection should a player or member of the public be injured, if property is damaged, destroyed or stolen and can even protect the club, its committee and its members if they are faced with legal claims or prosecutions. Many clubs will also need to prove they have insurance before they can hire facilities or participate in leagues.

The size of your club, its facilities and set up will determine the package of cover you will need – we can help you understand what insurance you do, and do not need.
