Why does my squash club need insurance?
Insurance can provide cover if a player or member of the public is injured or if property is damaged or stolen. Insurance can also be a legal requirement or insisted upon by facility owners.
The types of insurance your club needs is determined by its size, set-up and facilities – a small racket club will have fewer risks than a large club. If you are organising events or tournaments, there are further policies, such as cancellation or prize indemnity, which we can advise on.
A squash coach or instructor may want to consider a specific coaches policy – for more information take a look at our dedicated page for coaches or give us a call.
What insurance do I need to consider?
Every club, organisation, and race is unique, so no ‘one size fits all’ insurance plan or solution exists. Aside from squash insurance, there are some other recommended insurance options for your club, such as:
Public Liability
Personal Accident
Cyber Insurance
Legal Expenses
Kit & equipment
Employers Liability
Event Cancellation
Sports travel insurance
